Álvaro Ballero leaves 'Volverías con tu ex?' after heated on‑set dispute

During a fashion‑show challenge on the Chilean reality series "Volverías con tu ex?" contestant Luis Mateucci sharply criticized Álvaro Ballero, prompting Ballero to launch a verbal attack that nearly turned physical. Fellow participants intervened and the altercation was contained, after which Ballero called a meeting and announced he was quitting the competition, saying his dignity had been compromised.

Later in the same episode, former partner María José Reyes appeared in a live interview and asked Ballero about an engagement ring and his feelings. Ballero responded that he only loves Ludmila Ksenofontova, the Russian skater on the show, and reiterated his decision to leave the program.
