Álvaro Díaz performs Omakase tribute at Palacio de los Deportes
Puerto Rican singer Álvaro Díaz performed a themed concert at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, presenting his ‘Omakase’ project. The show featured a Japanese culinary concept, with the artist wearing a chef’s jacket and performing atop a kitchen-style counter.
The performance served as a tribute to the late chef and storyteller Anthony Bourdain. Throughout the set, which included songs such as ‘SiCheff’, ‘MDF’, and ‘Problemón’, dancers and performers acted as cooks, using culinary metaphors to reflect on life. The event drew a crowd of approximately 19,000 spectators.
