Álvaro Morata joins CD Leganés on loan from Como

Spanish striker Álvaro Morata has completed a transfer to CD Leganés in La Liga Hypermotion following his departure from the Italian club Como. The move comes as a season-long loan with an option to buy.

During his official presentation at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque, Morata expressed an emotional connection to the club and the venue, noting that his football journey effectively began on that pitch as a ball boy. He stated that he chose Leganés because of the leadership's belief in him and his desire to find himself as a footballer again.

Morata has already been officially registered with LaLiga, making him available for selection. Manager Rubén Albés could potentially debut the forward as early as this Friday in the upcoming match against Las Palmas.
