LVBP: Cardenales de Lara take lead as Tigres and Tiburones struggle

In the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), Cardenales de Lara have ascended to the top of the championship standings following a series victory over Tigres de Aragua. The Tigres, who began the 2026-2027 season strongly, experienced a downturn during their second week, recording two wins and three losses to finish with a 7-4 record, sitting 1.5 games behind the leaders.
