LVBP preseason begins with player arrivals and stadium highlights

The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) is entering its preseason, with several key players joining their respective teams. Navegantes del Magallanes has integrated left-handed pitcher Ricardo Sánchez, infielders Tucupita Marcano and Arol Vera, and outfielder Oswaldo Arcia, who joined as an invited player.

Sánchez, the winner of the “Carrao” Bracho Pitcher of the Year award for the 2025-2026 season, completed his first bullpen session and expressed readiness for the season opener on October 12 against Tiburones.

Meanwhile, Leones del Caracas pitcher Nic Swanson expressed his admiration for the Estadio Monumental Simón Bolívar. The American player noted that playing in such a modern and large-scale venue is an experience players prepare for throughout their careers.
