LVBP teams announce key player signings for upcoming season

Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) teams are making key roster moves ahead of the upcoming season. Caribes de Anzoátegui has signed first baseman Jacob Teter to bolster their lineup following their runner-up finish in the 2025-2026 season. Teter, an American infielder previously with the York Revolution, joins the team after a strong performance in the Atlantic League where he maintained a .340 batting average and recorded 29 home runs.

Meanwhile, the Tigres de Aragua are preparing for their campaign with the expected debut of Oswaldo Cabrera. Acquired during the off-season from Tiburones de La Guaira, the New York Yankees player is expected to be available for much of the season. Sports manager Víctor Gárate also noted that the team expects to feature other notable players, including Jesús Rodríguez and Jorbit Vivas, as they aim to return to the postseason.
