LVDiez celebrates 95 years with 2026 Premios Raíces awards

To celebrate its 95th anniversary, the radio station LVDiez held the 2026 Premios Raíces ceremony at the Teatro Mendoza. The awards recognized outstanding individuals and groups in Mendoza across four categories: Scientific and Technical Work, Arts, Solidarity Work, and Sports.

The selection process involved a combination of nominations by the radio station and direct voting by the public via a digital platform. Among the winners in the Scientific and Technical category was Shadowfox from the Instituto Tomás Alva Edison, a team of students recognized for their achievements in educational robotics.

Silvina Alonso, president of the Radio de Cuyo board, emphasized the station's long-standing connection with the community, noting that the awards represent a generational legacy and a commitment to the province.
