LVMH and Kering implement new model safety standards and report financial results

Luxury conglomerates LVMH and Kering are updating their joint charter to strengthen protections for models. Starting with the 2027 Paris Fashion Week, individuals appearing in campaigns intended for adult audiences must be at least 18 years old. The new regulations also introduce stricter protocols regarding nudity, requiring formal consent before any such content is produced and ensuring models are not left alone with staff during shoots to prevent harassment and abuse.

Separately, LVMH reported revenue of 57.1 billion euros for the first nine months of 2026, marking a 2 percent organic increase. While economic slowdowns in China impacted overall activity, stable growth in the United States, Europe, and Japan helped offset the pressure. The Watches & Jewelry sector saw 8 percent organic growth, driven by Tiffany & Co. and Bvlgari, while Sephora maintained momentum through geographic expansion into markets like Belgium and Croatia.
