The 5th LX Cup Korea Women's Baseball Tournament, co-hosted by LX Group and the Women's Baseball Korea (WBAK), is scheduled to begin on October 24. The event will run until November 1 at LG Champions Park and Dream Stadium in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.

A total of 43 teams, including 16 in the Champ League (Division 1) and 27 in the Future League (Division 2), will participate, featuring approximately 1,000 players. Notably, more than half of the 20 members of the women's national baseball team are affiliated with teams in the Champ League.

The tournament is supported by LX Group Chairman Koo Bon-joon, who has been a long-time advocate for the sport. The competition aims to expand the foundation of women's baseball in Korea and provide growth opportunities for athletes. The opening match will feature 'Hura', seeking a third consecutive title, against 'Nine Box'. Major matches, including the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, will be broadcast live on the 'Choi Ban-jang TV' YouTube channel.
