Ly Son Island begins construction of cultural heritage tourism complex

Construction has commenced on the Ly Son Cultural Heritage Tourism Complex on Ly Son Island in Quang Ngai province. The project is designed to integrate the island's unique geological features—comprising seven ancient terrestrial volcanic craters and three submerged craters formed over millions of years—with the region's rich historical heritage.

The development draws inspiration from the Sa Huynh and Champa civilizations. Key components include a cultural heritage museum to display artifacts such as jar burials and ancient agricultural tools, as well as an outdoor reality performance area featuring Champa-style architecture and sculptures themed around the island's famous Ly Son garlic.

The complex will also feature a resort area with villas designed in an Indochine style blended with Champa motifs, set amidst tropical landscapes including coconut groves, infinity pools, and spaces for yoga and meditation.
