Lyca Productions confirms Indian 3 is in post-production

Lyca Productions has officially confirmed that post-production is underway for Indian 3, the third installment in the vigilante drama franchise starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar. To signal the project is back on track, the production house released a new poster featuring the protagonist, Senapathy, accompanied by the announcement that the film is in “War Mode.”

The development follows the 2024 release of Indian 2, which faced mixed critical and commercial reception. The third film is expected to explore the protagonist's past and family history. Much of the production for the third installment was reportedly filmed alongside the second part to streamline the process.
