Lyle Foster joins Houston Dynamo on loan from Burnley

South African international striker Lyle Foster has joined Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo on a loan deal from Burnley. The agreement extends until June 2027 and includes a $7 million purchase option.

Foster, who recently turned 26, completed his medical on Tuesday. He is expected to bolster the Dynamo attack, which currently sits second in the Western Conference. Notably, the move will not occupy a designated player spot on the Houston roster.

Foster joins the club following a tenure at Burnley that included appearances in the Premier League. His career has also included stints at Orlando Pirates, Monaco, Vitória Guimarães, and Westerlo. He has recorded 10 goals in 28 appearances for the South African national team.
