Lynda Him pushes women leadership and Brand Cambodia in rice export industry

Lynda Him, chief executive officer of Primalis Corporation and vice‑chair of the Cambodia Rice Federation, discussed the evolving role of women in Cambodia’s agricultural sector. She noted that a generation of better‑educated Cambodian women are now leading cooperatives, processing facilities and negotiating with international buyers, thanks to supportive programs and micro‑finance access.

Him also explained the strategy to build the "Brand Cambodia" story, emphasizing quality, value‑added production and innovation to strengthen Cambodia’s position as a leading exporter of premium rice. She urged the next generation of Cambodian women leaders to continue advancing the sector’s competitiveness in the global market.
