Lynda Mae Crouse arrested for alleged $98K Rolex theft
Lynda Mae Crouse, 32, has been arrested in Florida for allegedly drugging a man to steal a diamond-encrusted Rolex Presidential watch valued at $98,400. The incident occurred on April 12 after Crouse met the victim at the Carousel Club in Hallandale Beach.
According to court documents and a probable cause affidavit, the victim met Crouse at the club, exchanged contact information, and later arranged for an Uber to take her to his residence. While they were drinking, the victim reported feeling increasingly tired and confused. He recalled hearing a clapping sound, which he believes was the sound of a watch box being closed, before losing consciousness. Upon waking, he discovered the luxury timepiece was missing.
Authorities state that Crouse is accused of a pattern of targeting wealthy men by meeting them at venues and then drugging them to steal high-end watches. In addition to this charge of second-degree grand theft, Crouse reportedly has four other open cases in Miami-Dade County.
