Lynk & Co 02 MY27 and BYD Dolphin G DM-i introduce latest EV upgrades in Europe

Lynk & Co has updated its 02 Model Year 2027 SUV for the European market. The facelift adds an Onyx Black paint option, microfiber interior finishes, a redesigned central console, yellow safety‑belt trims and faster on‑board software. New driver‑profile settings, the "Hey Honk" sound function and a "Game Link" feature that uses the central display while parked are also included. The powertrain remains a 200 kW electric motor delivering 0‑100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, a range up to 445 km and DC fast‑charging (10‑80 % in 30 minutes at 150 kW).

Chinese automaker BYD has launched the Dolphin G DM‑i plug‑in hybrid, targeting the European B‑segment. The compact 4.1‑metre hatchback is priced below €25,000. Its cabin follows a minimalist design with a large central touchscreen (10.1‑ or 12.8‑inch depending on trim), an 8.8‑inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and OTA software updates. Extras include wireless 15 W smartphone charging, 31‑colour ambient lighting, child‑presence detection and heated front seats on higher trims. Cargo capacity is 425 L, expanding to 1,225 L when the rear seats are folded (40:60 split).
