Lynk & Co expands in Argentina and faces European delays

Lynk & Co, a brand under the Geely Group, is expanding its global footprint with new product launches and shifts in distribution strategy. In Argentina, the company introduced the Lynk & Co 900 at the Expo Auto Chino 2026. The 900 is a large, six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV featuring a 2.0 Turbo engine paired with two electric motors, producing a combined 720 CV and 1,038 Nm of torque. The vehicle offers an all-electric range of up to 260 km and a total range of approximately 1,300 km.

In Europe, the brand's market entry in Austria has faced delays. While the company previously planned to launch models such as the 01, 02, and 08 in 2026, the market launch will not occur that year. This delay may be linked to a restructuring of distribution, as Volvo Cars is set to take over exclusive distribution for Lynk & Co in Europe starting in January 2027. Meanwhile, another Geely brand, Zeekr, is preparing to enter the Austrian market in the fourth quarter of 2026 with five planned models.
