Lynq migrates institutional settlement network to Avalanche L1
Tassat Group has completed the migration of its Lynq institutional settlement network to a dedicated, permissioned Avalanche Layer 1 (L1). The transition, finalized on April 29, 2026, allows the network to operate with its own validator requirements, configuration, and data access controls while remaining connected to the broader Avalanche ecosystem.
The move aims to provide institutional users with deterministic finality, allowing transactions to be irreversibly settled within seconds. The permissioned environment offers greater control over network parameters, which is critical for financial institutions requiring predictable processing and restricted data access. The migration preserved all existing positions, integrations, and operational workflows.
Lynq has onboarded more than 30 digital-asset institutions, including B2C2, Crypto.com, FalconX, Fireblocks, Galaxy, and Wintermute. Tassat’s underlying infrastructure has processed over $2.5 trillion in transactions as of the migration date. The network utilizes Tassat’s Yield-in-Transit technology, which enables assets to accrue and distribute interest on-chain while remaining available for settlement.
