Lyntris Inc. announces IPO targeting $2.5 billion valuation
Lyntris Inc., a defense technology company specializing in military sensor systems and connectivity solutions, has announced its initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ‘LYNX’. The company aims to offer 24,000,000 shares, comprising approximately 4.9 million shares from Lyntris and 19.1 million shares from selling stockholders, including private equity firm Trive Capital.
The expected price per share is between $19.00 and $22.00, which would value the company at approximately $2.53 billion. Lyntris intends to use a portion of the proceeds to retire nearly $60 million in debt. The company was formed earlier this year through the combination of Vitesse Systems and Accelint, both holdings of Trive Capital.
Financial filings indicate that while Lyntris has seen significant revenue growth—reporting $241 million for the first six months of the year—it has also experienced net losses. The company currently participates in more than 200 programs serving the U.S. Department of Defense and various allied governments.
