Lynx Defense nominated for North Carolina manufacturing contest

Lynx Defense, a manufacturer based in Selma, North Carolina, has been nominated for the 2026 ‘Coolest Thing Made in NC’ contest. The company is competing in the small business category, which is designated for manufacturers with fewer than 100 employees.

The nomination features the company’s flagship Pistol Range Bag, a product made from 1000D Cordura nylon designed to carry handguns, magazines, and ammunition. Founded in 2013, Lynx Defense designs, cuts, sews, and assembles its range bags, rifle cases, and shooting accessories at its facility in downtown Selma.

Organized by the NC Chamber, the annual statewide competition highlights products manufactured within North Carolina. This year’s contest includes 88 entries across various divisions.
