Lynyrd Skynyrd Extends U.S. Tour Through 2027

The Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd has added ten new concert dates, including six shows scheduled for later in 2026 and four more set for mid‑2027. The current summer leg, billed with Foreigner as “Double Trouble Double Vision,” continues through the end of the month before the band shifts to headlining shows in the fall.

The next leg begins in early September in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and was originally planned to run until October. Additional performances have been added for November 13 and 15, as well as a series of shows during the week of September 16‑24. Frontman Johnny Van Zant will continue closing each night with the classic “Free Bird,” a tradition he has maintained since rejoining the group in 1987.
