Lyon fisherman catches 2.3-meter catfish using a sandwich
A 45-year-old experienced fisherman named Christophe caught a 2.3-meter catfish in the Rhône river near Lyon on a Sunday evening. Having run out of traditional bait, he used a croque-monsieur sandwich attached to his line.
After returning from a coffee break, he found the fish on his line. It took approximately 30 minutes to land the catch before it was released back into the river.
