Lyon region expands business support through new Lyve hub and increased investments

The Lyon Metropolis is expanding its support for entrepreneurship with the opening of a fourth Lyve hub in Vénissieux. Located on the former Bosch site in the Grand Parilly district, the 1,700-square-meter facility features nine productive workshops, fourteen offices, and shared workspaces. The hub aims to host up to fifteen companies simultaneously, offering moderate-cost accommodation and structured support through the Lyve up program, which provides three years of guidance to help businesses scale.

In the surrounding region, the CCI Lyon Métropole Saint-Etienne Roanne has approved a significant investment increase of approximately 50 million euros. These funds are designated for various sectors, including startups via the Mesh fund, digital development, education, and a new fund dedicated to business succession. Additionally, the CCI is working to reduce real estate barriers for entrepreneurs through the Loire-Rhône action plan and participation in Foncière 42, with discussions underway regarding the potential creation of an industrial real estate entity.
