Lázaro Cárdenas celebrates Independence Day with traditional ceremony

In Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, Mayor Manuel Esquivel Bejarano led the traditional Independence Day ceremony on September 15. The event featured a popular fair with typical Mexican food and sweets provided by municipal departments.

The ceremony included the lighting of the ceremonial torch, which was carried by local athletes from the community of Acalpican de Morelos. The official proceedings were attended by various local officials, including the president of the Municipal DIF, Dulce Citlali Rodríguez Rodríguez, and military representatives.
