Lázaro Cárdenas communities receive tools for public space maintenance

Authorities in the Lázaro Cárdenas municipality have distributed maintenance toolkits to community delegates and local leaders to improve public spaces. The equipment, which includes picks, rakes, shovels, lawnmowers, and brush cutters, was delivered in Kantunilkín.

Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa stated that providing direct support to communities helps address specific local needs. The initiative aims to empower remote communities to maintain parks, green areas, and social spaces independently, reducing reliance on transporting heavy machinery from the municipal seat.
