Lázaro Cárdenas Municipal Cabildo Moves Second Government Report to Union Hall

The municipal cabildo of Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán held an extraordinary session on 4 August 2026 and voted to change the location of the Second Government Report for the 2024‑2027 term. Originally planned for the central patio of the municipal palace, the venue was shifted to the Salón del Sindicato of the city hall to avoid disruptions from the rainy season.

The report is scheduled for Thursday, 13 August at 18:00. The decision was announced by municipal secretary Héctor Alfredo García Calderón. During the session, regidores representing all major parties were noted, including Noé Báez Cardona (MORENA), Silvestre Sandoval Nogueda (PRI), Laura Carmona Oceguera (PRD), Leopoldo Jonathan Ramírez Cornejo (PAN), Sarahí González García (PT), Eugenia Herrera Aguirre (PVEM) and Marvin Alexis Toledo Gallardo (Movimiento Ciudadano).
