M Core acquires ViaPark retail park in Murcia

British commercial property investment and management group M Core has acquired the ViaPark retail park in Alcantarilla, Murcia. The acquisition marks the company’s entry into the Murcia region as part of its ongoing expansion strategy in Spain.

The acquired asset consists of approximately 5,900 square metres of commercial space and 304 parking spaces. It is part of a larger 23,000 square metre retail complex anchored by major retailers including E. Leclerc and Decathlon. Current tenants within the specific acquired portion include KFC, Merkal, and Flash.

M Core noted that the site offers significant potential for value creation, citing the possibility of developing new independent premises and drive-thru formats using the existing parking areas and adjacent land. This acquisition brings M Core’s Spanish portfolio to seven retail parks, comprising both operational assets and projects under development. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
