Đỗ Mỹ Linh launches new educational charity project in Lào Cai

Đỗ Mỹ Linh, Miss Vietnam 2016, marked the 10th anniversary of her crowning by returning to Cu Vai in Trạm Tấu, Lào Cai. She highlighted the area as a significant location in her life, tied to her previous charitable work, the “Carrying Electricity to the Village” project.

Reflecting on her decade as Miss Vietnam, she expressed that her most profound experiences have come from volunteer trips. Returning to Cu Vai, she aims to launch a new educational initiative titled “Sowing the Seeds of the Future.”

While local infrastructure such as roads and electricity has improved over the last ten years, Đỗ Mỹ Linh noted that educational conditions for children remain limited. The new project intends to renovate classrooms using a STEAM model and provide necessary learning equipment and tools to help children in the highland region develop creative and exploratory skills.
