M. Night Shyamalan honors Bruce Willis and announces new film

Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan has expressed deep gratitude for his long-time collaborator Bruce Willis, describing the retired actor as his ‘guardian angel’. The two shared a significant artistic history through films such as ‘The Sixth Sense’, ‘Unbreakable’, and ‘Glass’. Shyamalan noted that making ‘Glass’ was, in many ways, Willis’s final movie and reflected on their inextricably bound fates.

Shyamalan is also preparing for the release of a new supernatural romantic thriller titled ‘Remain’. Based on an original story co-written by Shyamalan and author Nicholas Sparks, the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a reclusive architect caught in a deadly mystery. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the project is scheduled for release on February 5, 2027.
