Director M. Night Shyamalan and bestselling author Nicholas Sparks have released the first teaser trailer for their collaborative film, ‘Remain’. The project, described as a ‘supernatural love story’, blends elements of romance, mystery, and horror.

Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Phoebe Dynevor, the plot follows Tate Gordon, a reclusive architect who moves to a small coastal town to complete a project. His life changes after meeting a mysterious young woman named Wren, leading him into a deadly mystery that haunts the community. The film is based on a story co-developed by Shyamalan and Sparks, with Sparks also publishing a novel of the same name.

Warner Bros. Pictures has scheduled the theatrical release for February 2027, positioning it as a unique offering for the Valentine’s Day season. The trailer has sparked fan speculation regarding potential connections to Shyamalan’s previous works, such as ‘The Sixth Sense’ and ‘Split’.
