M. Pokora stars in TF1 historical drama Oradour

The TF1 television film ‘Oradour’ features singer and actor M. Pokora in a leading role. Set during World War II, the production is inspired by real historical events surrounding the village of Oradour-sur-Glane.

M. Pokora portrays Philippe Gerbier, an officer of the Free French Forces who is parachuted near Oradour-sur-Glane on a secret mission for the Resistance. The plot follows his reunion with Marie, played by Caroline Anglade, a former love whose life is intertwined with the impending tragedy of the village.

Beyond acting, M. Pokora is a co-producer of the project through his company, M2THEP Entertainment. The idea for the film originated from his 2022 visit to Oradour-sur-Glane, where he met Robert Hébras, one of the few survivors of the massacre, and his granddaughter, Agathe Hébras.
