M2 announces Senxin Aleste and new console titles

M2 has announced three upcoming titles for consoles, headlined by the vertical shoot 'em up Senxin Aleste. Scheduled for release in Japan on March 18, 2027, Senxin Aleste will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation 4 version will be a digital exclusive.

The Senxin Aleste release will feature two primary modes: Senxin Aleste ORIGIN, which provides a faithful recreation of the 2021 arcade version, and Senxin Aleste BLADE, a redesigned version featuring a new missile mechanic and character-swapping gameplay. The console edition will also include a practice mode and a revamped soundtrack with original, new, and rearranged tracks.

Additionally, M2 announced Devil Blade Reboot Consumer Edition, a console version of the previously released Steam title. The company also revealed plans for a relaunch of the 1998 arcade shoot 'em up Armed Police Batrider, though specific platforms and release dates for these two titles have not yet been disclosed.
