M3 and M27 motorways face closures in Hampshire

National Highways has announced planned maintenance work on the M27 and M3 motorways in Hampshire, which may impact travel between Friday, September 11 and Sunday, September 13.

On the M3, the northbound exit slip road at Junction 13 will be closed from 9pm on Friday, September 25 until 6am on Saturday, September 26. Additionally, a long-term closure of the northbound entry slip road at Junction 9 remains in effect until November 2027 as part of a £280 million project to reconstruct the junction and improve links between the M3 and A34.

On the M27, the westbound entry slip road at Junction 2 will be closed during the same hours as the M3 Junction 13 works for structural maintenance.
