M42 launches Ossi AI clinical platform in UAE and Bahrain

M42 has launched Ossi, a multi-agent AI clinical platform designed to reduce administrative burdens for healthcare providers. Announced at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit, the platform utilizes Microsoft Azure AI infrastructure to assist with clinical documentation, transcription, and data management.

Ossi features tools such as an ambient scribe for transcribing consultations, a health record tool to aggregate patient information, and a clinical Q&A tool to assist staff with evidence-based guidelines. The system also suggests medical codes based on clinical notes for review by medical teams.

The platform is currently active across seven M42 facilities in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, including Healthpoint, HealthPlus, Mubadala Health Dubai, Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, and the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi, as well as Amana facilities in both countries.
