M6 launches new hotel rescue program Alerte à l’hôtel

The French television network M6 has premiered a new program titled ‘Alerte à l’hôtel : 30 jours pour tout relancer’. Similar in format to ‘Cauchemar en cuisine’, the show features hospitality experts Fred Sirieix and Pauline Petta, who work with struggling hotel owners over a 30-day period to revitalize their businesses and resolve staff tensions.

The debut episode focused on ‘À la Vieille Halle’, a 17-room hotel-restaurant located in Souppes-sur-Loing, Seine-et-Marne. The establishment faced significant challenges, including poor internet reviews and a deteriorating physical state. The owner, Madame Hoang, struggled with management and staff relations, leading to high-tension moments during the intervention. Despite the difficulties, the experts implemented a plan to renovate the premises and reorganize operations to prevent the business from closing.
