M6 television show features Vosges cuisine in Grand Est competition
The M6 television program ‘La Meilleure Cuisine Régionale, c’est chez moi !’ is highlighting the Grand Est region of France during its third season. Chefs Norbert Tarayre and Joann Conte are traveling across the country to evaluate local recipes and traditions to determine the best restaurant in each region.
In the Vosges department, several establishments are participating in the competition. At the Logis-restaurant de La Vigotte in Girmont-Val-d’Ajol, Laurent Grandgirard and his son Lucas competed against an Alsatian restaurant from the Munster valley. While La Vigotte received high marks, including a perfect 20/20 for hospitality and decor and a 19/20 for their potée lorraine, they narrowly missed the regional final with a total score of 19/20, losing to the Alsatian establishment which scored 19.5/20.
Other Vosgian participants featured in the week's episodes include the ferme-auberge Les Prenzières in Saulxures-sur-Moselotte, where Laura Vaxelaire presented a meat pie recipe.
