Ma Petite Entreprise launches cooperative Tour de France Femmes team

The newly formed women's cycling team Ma Petite Entreprise entered the Tour de France Femmes without a title sponsor, relying instead on a cooperative funding model. Founded by entrepreneur Emeric Ducruet, the team draws support from several hundred French small and medium‑size enterprises, offering five membership tiers ranging from €750 to €15,000, with additional lower‑cost options of €120 and €360 for individual supporters. Its €1.5 million budget is sourced through a crowdfunding platform, and the team currently counts about 600 contributors, targeting 1,000 members by the race’s conclusion in Nice on 9 August.

Océane Mahé wore the polka‑dot jersey for the team during the stage between Aigle and Geneva, highlighting the squad’s visibility. Ducruet partnered with communications firm head Michaël Amand and former AG2R manager Vincent Lavenu, who provides expertise and plans to eventually expand the project to a men’s team. The organization deliberately avoids a single dominant sponsor, emphasizing collective ethics and a collaborative spirit in French cycling.
