Mía Rubín defends attempt to open Rosalía concerts in Mexico

Singer Mía Rubín has addressed the social media reactions following her public attempt to secure a slot as an opening act for Rosalía’s concerts in Mexico. Rubín explained that the idea originated after attending a recent performance at the Arena Ciudad de México, where she noticed the show did not feature an opening artist.

Despite not knowing the specific contact channels to make a formal proposal, Rubín decided to express her interest publicly to avoid regret. She emphasized the importance of self-belief, stating, “If I don’t believe in myself, who will believe in me?”

While she did not open the recent shows due to the tour's format, Rubín expressed gratitude for the unexpected support she received from the public and remains optimistic that such an opportunity will eventually arise.
