MA-UWH Tambakberas readies Tower A lodging for NU Muktamar delegates

Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan KH Wahab Hasbullah (MA‑UWH) in Tambakberas, Jombang, is preparing its facilities to serve as Tower A for the 35th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Muktamar. The school will accommodate roughly 190 participants in Buildings A and B, with a total of 19 rooms spread across three floors. Upgrades include repainting, installation of air‑conditioning in every room, added toilets and Wi‑Fi to meet hotel‑like standards.

The internal committee, led by headmaster Faizun Amir, held a consolidation meeting on 26 July 2026. MA‑UWH is one of nine towers set up across the Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum complex, which together will provide 314 rooms in 16 educational buildings for about 3,370 Muktamar delegates. Building A dates back to 2014, while Building B was completed in 2024, located 100 metres east of A.
