Maa Durga Temple in Gonda attracts devotees

The Maa Durga Temple in Khargupur, located in the Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, serves as a significant center of faith for devotees. While the temple attracts visitors throughout the year, it sees a particular surge in crowds during the Navratri festival.

According to local traditions and temple servant Balak Niketan Das Maharaj, devotees believe that performing worship for five or eleven consecutive Sundays can lead to the fulfillment of wishes. Many pilgrims visit the shrine seeking relief from spiritual obstacles or praying for the blessing of children.
