Ma’a Nonu performs solo haka against former All Blacks side
During a match between the Sharks and the All Blacks, rugby legend Ma’a Nonu performed a solo Kapa o Pango haka in response to his former team. The 44-year-old center, who earned 103 caps and two World Cup titles with the All Blacks, faced his former teammates while playing for the South African side.
Following the All Blacks' traditional Ka Mate haka, led by Ruben Love, Nonu stepped forward alone to execute the more recent Kapa o Pango. The moment served as a symbolic gesture between the veteran player and the national team he represented for over a decade.
