Maahiya song released for series The Revolutionaries

The new song ‘Maahiya’ from the upcoming streaming series ‘The Revolutionaries’ has been released, offering a romantic departure from the show’s primary themes of rebellion and India’s fight for freedom. The track is a soft love ballad composed by Akashdeep Sengupta, featuring vocals by Neeti Mohan and Tushar Joshi.

The music video focuses on the chemistry between characters Sachindra Nath Sanyal, played by Rohit Saraf, and Pratibha Lahiri, played by Pratibha Ranta. Set against moonlit rooftops, the visuals depict a gentle, intimate relationship between the two leads. Neeti Mohan noted that the song celebrates the woman at the center of the emotion, aiming to capture a sense of pure and effortless love.

‘The Revolutionaries’ is based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s book regarding India’s independence movement. The series features a cast including Bhuvan Bam, Gurfateh Pirzada, Paoli Dam, and Tota Roy Chowdhury.
