Ma'ale Adumim settlement undergoes major expansion

Satellite imagery analysis of over 80 images captured between May 2025 and August 2026 reveals significant construction expansion in the Ma'ale Adumim settlement, located approximately 7 kilometers east of Jerusalem.

The analysis shows extensive land clearing spanning roughly 1.2 kilometers along the axis separating Ma'ale Adumim from the Mishor Adumim industrial zone. The industrial area is undergoing a major southern expansion covering approximately 450 dunams (0.45 square kilometers), which represents a 29% increase over the existing 1,550-dunam industrial zone. This expansion is intended for factories, offices, and various private rental buildings.

Furthermore, the imagery indicates preparations for new residential expansion plans that include more than 2,000 housing units and an extensive network of connecting roads and infrastructure. Official Israeli planning documents from the Supreme Planning Council confirm three settlement schemes in the area between Mishor Adumim and Ma'ale Adumim.
