Maame Gold gifts actress Christiana Awuni a new car

Businesswoman Maame Gold has gifted veteran Ghanaian actress Christiana Awuni a brand-new Toyota Sienta. The gesture took place during a public event in Accra following Awuni’s recent disclosures regarding her transportation challenges.

Despite a career in the Kumawood film industry spanning over two decades, Awuni had previously shared that she relied on public transportation, such as trotro, and ride-hailing services to move around. In addition to the vehicle, Maame Gold reportedly provided an undisclosed amount of money to assist with fuel expenses.

The handover, which was captured on video, showed the two women signing documents and presenting the keys beside the blue vehicle. The act has drawn significant attention online, highlighting the varying financial realities faced by established figures within the creative arts industry.
