Maassluis municipality seeks new organizer for Bouwdorp event

In Maassluis, approximately 200 children participated in the recent edition of the 'Bouwdorp' (construction village) in Wilgenrijk. Local officials Gary Bouwer and Jurre van de Merwe visited the site to view the creative structures built by the participants.

While the event was successful, Wilgenrijk B.V. has announced it will stop organizing the activity after eight editions, noting that the event no longer aligns with the further development of the residential area. The municipality of Maassluis is currently in advanced discussions with a potential new organizer to ensure the tradition continues in future years.
