Maassluis traffic safety measures criticized

In Maassluis, local efforts to increase road safety through the use of banners—such as Dick Bruna-themed signs stating ‘We are going back to school’—have been criticized as insufficient. The initiative aims to warn motorists that schools have reopened and that extra attention is required, but critics suggest that simple banners may not effectively address the underlying safety concerns.
