Maastricht secures Michelin Ceremony hosting rights until 2029

Maastricht has secured the Michelin Ceremony as a recurring event through at least 2029. Originally intended to stay in the city for only three editions following its 2024 move from Amsterdam, the partnership has been extended due to successful collaboration between MECC Maastricht, the Province of Limburg, the Municipality of Maastricht, and various local businesses.

Michelin Guide International Director Gwendal Poullennec noted that Maastricht’s atmosphere of hospitality and enjoyment aligns well with the brand’s image. The ceremony also complements the BBB Maastricht hospitality trade fair, driving increased interest from both exhibitors and visitors. The extension reinforces Maastricht’s status as a significant gastronomic hub in the Netherlands.
