Mableton deli burglary leads to two arrests

Two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Reid’s Deli, a long-standing business in Mableton, Georgia. Cobb County police identified 58-year-old William A. Horton and 35-year-old Justin Davis as the suspects in the September 7 incident.

During the break-in, which occurred around 1:30 a.m., a suspect allegedly smashed through the front glass door and stole payroll checks, a checkbook, and three bags of cash within approximately 90 seconds. Following the investigation, Horton was taken into custody at a residence on Anderson Mill Road, while Davis was already in custody on unrelated outstanding warrants.

Both men face charges of second-degree felony burglary, with Davis also facing a misdemeanor charge for obstruction. They are currently being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
