MAC de Feira de Santana to reopen with five simultaneous exhibitions

The Raimundo de Oliveira Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) in Feira de Santana is scheduled to reopen to the public on November 5, 2026, coinciding with National Culture Day. The reopening follows a complete renovation and physical expansion of the facility.

The museum will launch five simultaneous exhibitions that will remain open for visitation until January 2027. These exhibitions cover various artistic mediums, including painting, photography, children's art, and works from the museum's own collection. Specific shows include Priscila Lopes’s painting exhibition ‘Variações da Potência de Existir’ and Levy Costa’s photography exhibition ‘Como Alcançar o Pássaro em Voo’.

With approximately three decades of history, the MAC serves as a primary cultural hub for the municipality, aiming to strengthen the diffusion of visual arts and preserve local artistic memory.
