The city of Macaé has announced several local developments regarding employment and public safety. The Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Income is offering 1,395 job opportunities across various sectors, including construction, commerce, services, hospitality, industry, logistics, technology, and administration.

Available roles range from entry-level positions to technical and higher education requirements. Specific vacancies include construction workers, service staff, technicians in nursing and mechanics, sales consultants, and offshore-related roles. The database also includes positions designated for people with disabilities.

In terms of public security, a new post for the Tourist Area Policing Battalion (BPTur) has been established on the Cavaleiros waterfront. Located on Avenida Atlântica, the unit aims to increase the Military Police presence in high-traffic areas containing hotels, restaurants, and commerce.
