Macaé, Brazil hosts free concerts and Expo performances in July 2026

The city of Macaé in Rio de Janeiro state is staging several free cultural events in July 2026. The Festival Sesc de Inverno will take place in the Sana district on July 17 and 18, with Pop 3 performing on Friday night and Lenine on Saturday night, both at the Campo do Sana. Organized by Sesc RJ together with the municipal government, the concerts are free and are expected to draw visitors from the surrounding Norte Fluminense region, boosting local tourism, hospitality and related services.

Separately, the Expo Macaé 2026, a week‑long celebration of the municipality’s 213th anniversary, will feature a series of musical performances, including sertanejo star Panda on July 28 at the Parque de Exposições Latiff Mussi Rocha. The expo also hosts agricultural exhibitions, rodeos, gastronomy fairs and business activities, positioning the event as a major showcase for the regional agribusiness and entertainment sectors.

Both events aim to increase short‑term visitor flows and stimulate the local economy through heightened demand for hotels, restaurants, bars and other tourism‑related services.
